Extra Hand Group Pty Ltd started trading, by offering a premium property maintenance service, resembling our competitors like Hire a Hubby or Jim’s Group in the early 2020s.

Extra Hand Group CEO and Owner Paul Clements’s last professional role was that of a Maintenance Manager with a multinational company. He has had extensive experience in overseeing the maintenance of high-speed process lines, machinery, supporting services & associated equipment.

Whilst performing this work, he completed further studies in Work Health Safety, becoming directly involved with site safety compliance.

Paul’s experience and knowledge gives us a strong foundation to provide a safe and efficient service to our customers.

Extra Hand Group are approved state government contractors and have been servicing customers such as commercial & industrial, strata, property managers and the public.

Using knowledge obtained whilst performing property maintenance, including discussions with customers, and observations made in the field, we saw a market need for a solar panel cleaning service in 2023.

Extra Hand Group subsequently launched Extra Hand Solar Clean in 2024. This is now our primary business as detailed on this website. It is exciting to be involved in the new and exciting realm of renewable and clean energy.

Our initial two aims were to keep your photovoltaic cells (solar panels) operating at peak levels and to maximise their life.

In 2025, with many solar clean projects now completed, in many and varied settings and locations, we recognised a need too add roof treatment, since roof contamination including natural growths and deposits, near solar panels, are an added risk with potential to cause damage.

Extra Hand Solar Clean offer one off, or re-occurring cleaning and treatment services, over the Sydney metropolitan area including Wollongong and the regions. As demand for our services is growing, we encourage our customers to consider service agreements to ensure continuing availability.
